Home Town Throwdown
In the past, all support groups of Washington Parish Schools competed against each other just before the fair parade. Not only has this required all these students to begin very early that Wednesday, but it also limited the amount of time we can showcase these kids, their talent, and their hard work. These students deserve a stand-alone event where they are the main attraction.
Hometown Throwdown is a band, cheer, and dance team competition that kicks off the Washington Parish Free Fair in Franklinton, Louisiana. This year we will compete at FHS Stadium on October 17th at 6:00 p.m; show us your school spirit! Come out and support these support groups! Admission is $2. Enthusiasm and a fair spirit are required.
Winners will be announced Tuesday evening!
